Home-Delivered Meals

CLSF delivers meals to elderly persons who are not physically able to prepare meals for themselves and/or do not have in-home support services. 

CLSF serves eligible residents throughout San Francisco who primarily reside in undeserved neighborhoods such as Bernal HeightsOuter/Inner Mission, Bayview and the Excelsior District. (94103, 94109, 94110, 94133)

To participate in Home-Delivered Nutrition Services, an individual must meet one of the following criteria:

  • An older adult (60+) living in the City and County of San Francisco who is homebound due to illness or disability, or is otherwise isolated.
  • A spouse or domestic partner of an older adult enrolled in the program if an assessment by the grantee’s social worker or assessment staff concludes that it is in the best interest of the enrolled older adult.
  • An individual with a disability who resides at home with an enrolled older adult, if an assessment by the grantee’s social worker or assessment staff concludes that it is in the best interest of the enrolled older adult.

Meal delivery service (year-round) includes:

  • Hot, nutritious lunches Monday - Friday 
  • A chilled nutritious meal for Saturday and Sunday
